Lent Day #20

Day #20 (40acts): Be polite on the road. Ha. Today when I was cycling over Waterloo Bridge I saw a kid chuck some litter over the side of the bridge. He was wearing a team tracksuit, along with the rest of the group and some adults. So as I cycled passed I called out ‘litterbug’. It was the politest thing I could think of to say. Several kids jeered back.

I wave a lot at vehicle drivers if I appreciate their actions. But I think that it is more a defence mechanism against receiving aggression than anything else.

Day #20 (action): I signed up to the Greenpeace campaign to tell Volkswagen to stop opposing environmental laws.
